So, as you guys probably know by now, not a lot of cargo space here in our Ford Bronco Sport, and this way, you can go ahead and keep all your cargo needs right here on the side of your roof, and what that's going to let you do, as you guys can see, give you plenty of clearance on the other side, for any of your other accessory needs, much like a J stock kayak carrier, a roof bike, or a roof bike carrier, whatever you guys really want to go ahead and put on here, gonna have the room to do it. Now, one little caveat, I will say I would probably shift this forward just a little bit. You don't have to have it set just like we here today. more

Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at our Yakima SkinnyWarrior roof mounted, cargo basket, right here on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. A very common question is if I do have cargo on my roof, can I still open my hatch As you can see here on our 4Runner, we still have plenty of clearance from the top of our hatch door and the back of our cargo carrier. Now, if you need to, you can also push this more towards the front of your vehicle, if you need more clearance, especially with the 16 inch long extension, but on its own, the SkinnyWarrior is a great fit. So if you're taking your 4Runner out for adventures and you want to carry some extra cargo, that you can't really fit inside your vehicle, or you may not want it inside your vehicle, that's where a roof mounted cargo basket like this comes in handy. more

What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're going to checking out the Yakima Skinny Warrior rooftop cargo basket, on our 2022 Subaru Outback wagon. The Skinny Warrior fits nicely on your Subaru factory roof rack, that's what we're using today. Now the one thing is that since there's not a much overhang, there's not a lot of space up here on the roof rack, but you can see the Skinny Warrior fits up there with room to spare, So it's nice that it doesn't take up that much space and the open space on this side over here, you could add probably a bike rack on there, or maybe a ski care or something like that, that way you can maximize the capacity of your roof. All things metal, black powder-coated steel, so you don't have to worry about if you want to just leave it on your roof all the time, it's going to be all right, the elements aren't going to bother it. Now it mounts with these clamps here, and they go, so what you do is the hand knobs and you just loosen this. more

Curt Roof Basket Review - 2018 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the CURT roof basket here today on our 2018 Nissan Rogue. So if you guys are trying to find a way of giving yourself a little bit more cargo space, just not enough, especially if you start loading up that back seat, start losing a lot of your cargo room. This is going to be a great way to start reclaiming some of that, getting some of your bigger, heavier bulkier items out of the vehicle and on top of your roof. And one thing that's really nice about it, this can start saving you a ton of money especially when you start comparing it to some of the hitch-mounted options out there. A, you're going to have to get a hitch and B, those cargo carriers can start getting a little expensive. more

Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2009 Ford F-150- Video
Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Yakima OffGrid Roof-Mounted Cargo Basket here on our 2009 Ford F-150. Now obviously this isn't on our roof, it's on the bed of our truck, and how we're doing that is gonna be a little special something called this RetraxONE XR Hard Tonneau Cover with the T-slot track on the sides. So this guy is amazing, however, it's not what we're showcasing off here today. This is just simply what's allowing us to use our OffGrid, of course, giving us a nice little crossbar system to go ahead and run across and actually go ahead and clamp this on the bed of our truck. What's great about this, you're getting that tonneau cover, right, but you're also getting this maximum space here. more

Now the Palisade does have that third row, so if you do find yourself kind of getting that guy up, having people in the back, you're definitely gonna be limiting your cargo space. So this can be a nice little way, if you guys, A, don't have a hitch or B, maybe you're utilizing your hitch for something else, towing something, you've got a trailer with you, or may get a cargo basket or something else on the back end, too. Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the CURT Roof Mounted Cargo Basket here in our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now guys, of course, a lot of cargo space here in the Grand Cherokee, however, you start finding yourself piling everybody on the inside, filling up those seats and taking over that little bit of a limited cargo space in the back. It can be nice to go ahead and grab ourselves a little bit more room for that cargo. So, of course, this can be a great little pickup if you find yourself doing a lot of road tripping and one of those big items up there. One little thing to it that's nice though, guys, if you have a lot of kids that are maybe getting into those sports, getting dirty, getting gross, and they have all this duffle equipment, can be nice to go ahead, keep those from actually getting on the inside of our vehicle and getting them dirty and just getting them up on top. more

Here's our Yakima Off-Grid Roof Cargo Basket on a 2018 Ford Fiesta. So the roof cargo basket adds a whole storage capacity on a vehicle that has a small trunk and already has a bike rack on it. So if you're going on a long extended mountain bike trip or camping with the family, you're able to put your coolers, bags, tents, whatever you need up there. You also had the ability to shift it over and put a separate bike rack or whatever supplies you have. So the size of the cargo basket is 44 by 40. So what does that mean Well, for pictorial reference, you probably have cooler like this at home, and if you're going camping, you're probably taking it with you. more

Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OffGrid Roo Mounted Cargo Basket here on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. Now this can be an excellent way, guys, of getting a lot more cargo space getting up on top of the roof and therefore we don't have to even add anything on the back of our hitch. You don't have to worry about a hitch, the only thing we're going to need, a nice little roof rack system to make sure that this works. Now we do have it on here on the Rhino-Rack here today, but you can make it work on almost any crossbar system, so whether it be round, square, factory, or aero, you should have no trouble at all getting on it. One little thing I will say when considering what kind of crossbar to get, if you are wanting to start utilizing Yakima's same key system, it could benefit you to go ahead and just grab a Yakima roof rack. Now, of course, as we said, you don't have to do that, but that will begin as to go ahead and start getting all of our locking cores keyed alike, utilizing Yakima's same key system. more

Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Curt Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket on our 2020 Chevy traverse. Now this would be a great way of actually getting cargo out of our car and on top of our vehicle. Why that might be important We are in the Chevy traverse. We are getting a lot of seating and normally, you know when those seats are down you're getting a lot of space back there. However, maybe you're bringing the friends of the family or something on a trip, and you want to get all that cargo and room out of the back. more

Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2020 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OffGrid cargo basket on our 2020 Chevy Traverse. Now, this gonna be a great way, of course, getting that cargo out of our car up onto our roof. While that might be an easy option for us, but each Traverses don't come with hitches, so getting this up on a roof is gonna be a good option rather than having to get that hitch, then get the cargo basket. All we gotta do hopefully get something that's not gonna cost us nearly as much to get that affordability on top of here. Keep it in mind too, we do get a lot of space in the Traverse, however, when we start getting a lot more people especially in those back rows, not a lot of room. more

Now right away, if you're trying to get away of getting that cargo out of your car, up on the roof this is going to be a great entry point model for you as it is getting this a lot of room. Getting all that stuff out of the backseat, up on our roof. That's gonna allow us to get more people in our car and get down the road. Now you can see we have a nice little grid design here. more

Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Yakima off-grid cargo basket on our 2017 Kia Forte5. With this cargo basket being so versed out, it's going to give us a lot of options of actually getting us down the road. Now, things I like about it, as you can see with this Kia Forte we do have the backseats down tonight, and we have a lot of cargo area, but keep in mind, as we get those seats up we're actually be condensing that quite a lot. So, if we want to fit those, you know, those coolers up in here, those lawn chairs, we're going to get a great option of actually getting those and getting us and our family to the trip. more

MaxxTow Roof Mounted Cargo Basket Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4- Video
What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the MaxxTow MaxxHaul Roof Mounted Cargo Basket on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. A cargo basket's gonna be a great way just to free up some space on the inside of your vehicle, especially on longer trips. A lotta the stuff gets kinda piled up in the back. You may be not be able to see out of the back window, or your kiddos are just gonna be kinda clumped up and they're gonna be a little bit more not as quiet on those longer trips. So I definitely recommend it for families, and just if you are somebody likes to just go camping or just bring a lotta gear wherever you're going. more

Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2021 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hey, everybody, I'm Bobby. And today at etrailer.com, we're taking a look at our Yakima OffGrid Cargo Basket on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. The thing to keep in mind with the 4Runner here, as you can see, these raised rails are actually pretty backset on the vehicle, The thing to keep in mind, especially you're adding that extension onto the cargo room roof rack as well, is that this door does swing up a little bit here, so be mindful of the space. If I do a quick measurement here, looks like about 17 inches or so to the back of that cargo basket. That can get a little troublesome especially you add any long items, so just keep that in mind. And right away, as you can see here, this cargo basket is gonna give us a lot of room. more

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at our MaxxTow Roof Mounted Cargo Basket here on our 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander. There are some reasons for getting a cargo basket. One situation I can think of and can relate to, is when you have your Outlander fully loaded. You have people in the front, the middle, even in your third row of seats and that cuts down on your cargo space. If you need to put your bags or your luggage somewhere, a great option is to get a roof basket, just like what we have here on our car. more

Yakima MegaWarrior Extra Large Cargo Basket Review - 2020 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hi there Jeep owners. Today, your 2021 Jeep Gladiator, we're going to be taking a look at the MegaWarrior from Yakima. Now, in order to install the MegaWarrior onto your Jeep Gladiator, you're going to need to have an option to do so. You can either use a roof rack or a ladder rack, whichever is the best option for your Gladiator. You also want to keep in mind that this carrier here needs a minimum spread of 36 inches, with a maximum spread up to 60. So you do want to make sure that the component you're planning on mounting it to has the appropriate spread to do so. more

etrailer Medium Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2021 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer cargo basket on our 2021 Chevrolet Equinox. Whenever you have a bunch of passengers and you're going on a long trip a lot of the times, people over pack or you just have a lot of stuff to bring with you. This is gonna be a great way to not add any length to your vehicle with a cargo carrier but to get all that up on top of your roof to make everybody a lot more comfortable. This is the medium cargo basket but we also have a large and extra large as well. So depending on how much stuff you have, choose accordingly. more

etrailer Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2021 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer large rooftop cargo basket on our 2021 Chevrolet Equinox. Have you planned on taking a decent amount of people in your Equinox on a longer trip They're probably gonna have a whole lot of stuff whether you have coolers, your bags or any type of other gear that may be starting to clutter up the back maybe it's starting to obscure your vision through your rear-view mirror. That's not something we really want. It's gonna be nice just to get all that stuff up and out side of the Equinox so we can have a lot more space on the inside to keep everybody a lot more comfortable. There isn't a whole lot of things we need to worry about when getting this up and onto our roof, it's relatively light so you could do it by yourself but also with the roof rack setup. more

Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're going to take a look at the etrailer medium roof basket on our 2020 Mazda CX-5.Now, a roof basket is going to be a great choice if you happen to have a lot of gear or equipment, whether you're going on a camping trip, you're going to and from the beach, dirty items. Even having longer items and you don't want to put them inside your vehicle. Going this route is going to be a great option.One thing that's nice about the etrailer cargo basket is going to be the steel construction and the finish that is on it. It's going to hold up to some of those items that are a little bit bigger or clunkier. Also, having multiple tie-down points that you can see throughout keeps that cargo nice and secure. more
